Leave a Bacio Sospeso in the Cloud
The Baci Sospesi Cloud brings the exchange of paper notes online. Send a message to someone you may never meet. A thought, a wish, a few words you would love to receive yourself. After approval, your message will become a red kiss in the Cloud for others to open.
Berlin Sprouting Lab
August 2026 · Berlin, Germany
The Sprouting Lab brought WANTED posters and detachable messages of resistance and encouragement into the project. Barbara Sbrocca and Lorena Terzi led the lab, organised through Barbara’s organisation, Blu Shabaka APS, in collaboration with KulturNest Berlin and hosted by KulturLabor Trial & Error.
A permanent installation in Leiria
13 September 2025 · Museu Moinho do Papel, Portugal
The installation by Barbara Sbrocca and Abílio Febra opened beside the River Lis. A sculpture and three red kiss-shaped benches offer places to sit, hear the water and leave a message. A collective exhibition accompanied the celebration.
The workshop and flag in Leiria
July 2024 · Livraria Arquivo, Portugal
Ten artists took part in the Baci Sospesi workshop. The closing exhibition presented the flag prototype in jute, cut and sewn by hand by Barbara Sbrocca. An auction raised €800 for EAPN Portugal.
The project continues
The forthcoming Baci Sospesi book brings together the origin, voices, forms and principles of the project. New places and new forms of participation begin through conversations with communities, artists and institutions.
