A Bacio Sospeso is a message sent to someone you may never meet. An act of kindness in advance. The Cloud carries the same values as the installations do, across places and distances: you leave your words, for others and you read others’ messages for you. Let the best in humanity inspire you!

Because clouds have no borders. No one can stop their journey.

Scrivi nella lingua che preferisci!
Write in the language you desire. A few heartfelt words.
Be kind, share words you’d love to read for yourself. Imagine someone receiving them, perhaps they are far from you, perhaps on a day when those words will make a difference.
Share words that can travel openly. You can add your first name if you like, but leave out surnames and private details. Your email belongs in its own field and will never appear beside your message.
Barbara will read your words before they appear in the Cloud. Your bacio will become visible only after her approval.
Every message is reviewed before it appears in the Cloud. Depending on traffic on the platform, this may take from a few minutes to a few hours. Offensive or denigrating messages will be deleted.
Unpublished messages and their associated data are automatically deleted after 90 days. For approved messages, the private email address is automatically removed after 12 months. These periods run from the date of submission.

Take time with another person’s words. You may recognise a feeling, meet an experience far from your own or find a question you also carry. Each message offers an occasion to pause and give someone else attention.

From a paper note to a cloud of kisses
A simple paper note can hold something of the person who wrote it: a thought, a question, a drawing, a wish. Someone has stopped, chosen what to share and left it for another human being. Someone else can stop and receive it. The two people may never meet, yet the gesture creates a point of contact between their lives.
This is what happens in the Baci Sospesi installations. A message waits inside a red “bacio”, open to whoever finds it. Inspired by the “caffè sospeso” in Naples, the exchange begins with an offering, freely given, without knowing who will receive it or expecting something in return.
A small note matters because it makes your feelings tangible. A person has left a trace of their presence and made room for someone else’s. In a world where distance and indifference can feel overwhelming, this is a gesture anyone can choose: offer something meaningful, receive something touching, give another human being attention.
